Participants will view prehistoric Salado pottery, examine the ruins the Salado left behind, dig native clay from the desert, then carefully recreate Salado pottery using authentic tools and materials and finally fire that pottery in an outdoor mesquite fire. Class is limited to 12 participants. This is not an Old Pueblo Archaeology Center event. To register visit www.palatkwapi.com/workshop.
