“Park of Four Waters Tour”

This tour will be held at the Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park, 4619 E. Washington St., Phoenix, on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 2-2:30 PM and is free with general admission fee. The Hohokam people lived in the Salt River area from approximately A.D. 450-1450. In order to support their extensive agricultural system, they constructed miles of canals to direct water from the Salt River to their fields. The Park of Four Waters will take you on a tour through undeveloped, natural desert to the ruins of some of these canals systems.
