Whole seashells found during excavations at the Yuma Wash Hohokam archaeological site

This free presentation will be given by archaeologist Allen Dart at the Wheeler Taft Abbett Sr. Library, 7800 N. Schisler Dr. in Marana, Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016 from 6-7:30 pm. Archaeologist Allen Dart will illustrate artifacts, architecture, and other material culture of southern Arizona’s ancient Hohokam culture, and will discuss Old Pueblo Archaeology Center’s excavations in a Hohokam village in the Town of Marana’s Crossroads at Silverbell District Park near the Wheeler Taft Abbett Sr. Library.
